Because they’re FREE-RANGE, free to explore and experience the world around them as they industriously fill their crops.
We like to think of COOP as a FREE-RANGE ORCHESTRA, constantly on the lookout for the next musical morsel in our diverse cultural barnyard, tearing down the fences that separate the audience from the musicians.
Being FREE-RANGE gives COOP the flexibility to do programming in a way that best serves our musical community, engaging and stimulating our audiences as participants and as listeners.
We are so unique in so many ways:
- We seek out new music that represents you, our audience.
- We perform it often enough to let it get into your ears and become familiar.
- We give you the chance to weigh in on pieces you like: think Billboard for Symphony Orchestra.
- We bring our educational skills and enthusiastic attitude about music to the children who need it most.
- We do all this without sacrificing artistic quality.
Awesome!
